Michael Foy has been a recruiter since 1993 and founded Publishing Search Solutions in August, 1997. He has achieved Elite Club status and placed several times in the top 100 of the 'Positive Management Associates' list, an international association of recruiters. With over 15 years of experience he attributes his success to the personalized attention he gives to each potential match. He's most gratified when his candidate's career goals are realized through a match with the situation that provides long term professional satisfaction and growth.

In providing recruiting expertise to book, magazine and journal publishers across the country he has placed candidates who have gone on to achieve success at such companies as Meredith Corporation, Rodale, Randall Reilly, Kalmbach Publishing, Pearson Education, Nature Education, Oxford University Press, Cengage, Houghton Mifflin, Sage, Kluwer, Blackwell, McGraw-Hill and many more.

Now, due to popular demand, Michael Foy and Publishing Search Solutions are introducing a new program, Publishing Job Hunter Coach. It is a one on one relationship modeled after personal coaching techniques. Its purpose is to educate newly laid off candidates on how to land their next job. Topics will include customizing resumes, identifying employers, using social networks, approaching employers, follow through etc...

The ideal participant will be out of a publishing job within the last three months, looking for another job in the industry, willing to accept direction and be disciplined in executing those directions.

The program will essentially be made up of four half hour phone appointments and there will be homework after each meeting. The one time cost will be either $400 or $250 depending on a candidate's level. Participants will be eligible for the openings that Publishing Search Solutions is filling as well.
